BGCNSMC is a dynamic and responsive non-profit organization in North San Mateo County. They partner with schools and the community to ensure that youth are provided with the opportunities, experiences, and support to redefine possibilities and chart courses to great futures.
With over 1000 lives impacted, BGCNSMC has been a community pillar and a positive, driving force for youth academic empowerment and leadership for the last 65 years.
Their mission is to inspire and enable young people to realize their full potential and contribute to their communities.
The organization’s website has quickly become outdated and that may be hindering their impact and outreach. To support the tech-based community they serve, they hope to revitalize their image and access to the community members. Their metrics for success include ease of enrollment and an increase in donations through their website.
The website primarily serves two community groups. The first is the parents/families looking to register their youth in programs. The second group includes potential and current donors.
Our website redesign prioritized user engagement, simplified enrollment, and donations. We placed prominent CTAs ("Enroll in Programs" and "Donate") strategically in the header and on all pages for easy access. We also added a straightforward step-by-step enrollment guide, FAQs section, and reduced clutter for a user-friendly experience.
