Aspire Education is a Bay Area nonprofit dedicated to providing high-quality tutoring and mentorship to students, with a focus on underserved communities. Since 2005, Aspire has supported over 22,000 students through one-on-one tutoring, custom academic programming, and its Community Reading Buddies initiative, working to close opportunity gaps and advance educational equity.
The objective of our project was to redesign Aspire Education’s website to be user-friendly, engaging, and up-to-date; clearly communicate its mission, services, and impact; and guide 4 key audiences toward meaningful engagement while remaining easy for staff to update and maintain. We achieved this by developing a streamlined site map optimized for user flows and navigation, redesigning and fully implementing 14 core pages, and cleaning and optimizing Aspire’s backend for easier long-term content management.
