America SCORES is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that inspires youth to lead healthy lives, engage academically, and build confidence and character through free after-school and summer programs. These programs use soccer to teach teamwork and leadership, poetry to spark self‑expression and confidence, and service‑learning to foster compassion and community leadership.
America SCORES asked us to migrate poems from their hard-to-maintain WordPress site, youthpoetry.org, to their more frequently visited Squarespace site, scoresu.org. Through user research with coaches, we discovered significant navigation challenges, which led us to expand the project into a full site reorganization—including improved navigation, streamlined training resources, and a dedicated gallery to explore the migrated Radio Poets archive.
